We spent 4-5 hours in the sanctuary, so much to see and do! The sheep sheering show is fantastic. We enjoyed feeding the Kangaroos, too.

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary was an absolutely awesome experience! I would definitely recommend not only to families but to anyone visiting the Gold Coast. It has a myriad of Australian wildlife that you can get up close and personal with, like the classically thought of koalas and kangaroos, as well as many other species. It was an unforgettable experience and I learned so much from the staff that not only lead the shows but were also willing to stop and chat about the animals they so clearly love!

The 4 of us were delighted with our first Experience Oz experience, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! We found it easy and quick to register online as well as parking and entering the park. We were treated wonderfully by all working there, especially the ladies at the koala experience booth as we were in a bit of a hurry. We were surprised to get to go into where the kangaroos roamed and pet them! The park is spread out and beautiful! There’s always someone to help if needed. Toilets in good locations. We feel we got our monies worth for sure. Learning about and holding koalas will last with us forever! Priceless as they say! We loved the gift shops and had yummy ice cream at a cafe inside the park before leaving much too soon. Thank you!

I would recommend Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to families who are visiting the Gold Coast. We had good fun at the park visiting various animals, sitting on the mini train, watching the animal shows and last but not least enjoying the food at the markets. Overall, it was a day well spent and we had fond memories of our first trip to the Gold Coast. The park is very large so we would recommend a stroller to help families with young children.

We went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. The day was cloudy, and that was perfect because on a sunny day would've been way too hot to see everything. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the sanctuary such as holding a koala, interacting with the kangaroos and ostrich. Would totally recommend anyone travelling to Gold Coast to visit the sanctuary!
